Start-up Story

In 2017, our rescued yellow lab, Ozzy, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and had to have his front left leg amputated. We knew we needed someone to walk him while we were away and we were able to find an amazing caregiver who owned a local company.  She, and her team of caregivers helped us with our aging trio of Labradors - Ozzy, Sally and Charlie. She saw us go through the ups and downs, the good days and the bad days, and eventually through losing all 3. Her love extended not just to our dogs, but our whole family, and she became a friend to all of us. When she decided to sell her company, I decided to continue her mission. Being a pet lover, I've always said that my dream job would allow me to spend the day with my dogs so this was a perfect fit!  Wanting to keep the name similar but with a slight change, we decided on "Pozz To Give Pet Services", after our dog Ozzy, which seemed to bring us full circle to the reason we crossed paths.

Since 2019, we've added pet sitting services for cats and large dogs, as well as daycare, pet taxi and poop scooping. We have also extended our borders to include Westminster, Broomfield and Wheatridge, but we still provide service to the Arvada area primarily.

I have always been a pet lover and this job is a dream come true! Currently, thanks to many rescues, I have a black Lab, Henry and a Lab/Great Pyrenees mix named Daisy, 4 cats, 8 chickens, and a salt water aquarium because I apparently love to spend money on vet bills! Honestly, I can't imagine my life any other way.

Hello animal enthusiasts! My name is Audrey and I’ve been living in Colorado for almost 3 years. I go to school at University of Denver where I'm getting my masters in library science. My husband and I have a sweet orange tabby named Katherine who we absolutely spoil. When I’m not playing with animals, I like to read, watch TV, cook, and hang out outside. I look forward to spending time with your furry friends!
